In this episode David visits with two of the best restaurants in Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Balkan cuisine accompanied by wines out of Herzegovina is served by restaurant Sadrvan. It’s located in the heart of the Old Town, on the northern side of Stari Most (the old bridge).
The menu at Sadrvan is heavily affected by the traditional cuisine of the Ottoman empire. The baklava this is really to die for! We also had the opportunity to try a Lodza, which will be a cherry flavored Rakia.
We visit a cozy restaurant called Tirma-Irma. This area is renowned because of its Cevapcici, the dish in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Tima-Irma is called after the owner, Irma. Imagine a Bosnian BBQ combined, with great wine and staff! They have live music on certain nights. Dining at Time-Irma was one of the highlights of visiting Mostar.
